How to Take Care Of The Skin After Forty

Our 40’s are without a doubt challenging times.  We spend most of our days taking care of all our loved ones if you have kids like me in my case one son my days start pretty early whether I like or not. Valuable tips to take care of skin after forty

We want to take this opportunity to share with you our fountain of youth and sanity.

I will break it down in steps what my night routine consist and share with you my regimen to keep my self-looking and feeling fabulous during the day. My wish is for you that after you read the following tips, you find the inspiration, motivation to do the little things we can do every day to feel and be Uflalwess and fabulous after forty (40).

Tip number 1: Give yourself one hour a night before going to bed.
After you put the kids to bed while hanging out with your husband or not give yourself this time for you to decompress, love yourself and prepare yourself to go to bed and catch a good night of sleep.

I love the quiet of the night for me is my time to focus on me. My goals and end-results objective for this time of my day are simple this is the time to go inside my self and check how am I doing.

Learning to Reward Yourself

Most of us from the minute we wake up our attention is in someone else is taking care of our kids, our husbands, our businesses, friends, the family you name it. Owning this hour during the day can be very rewarding and give you so much peace &  happiness. In my opinion, holding on to this hour is essential to our existence.

For me, my hour is from 10 pm to 11 pm. During this time is when I usually take a nice warm shower, take care of my body, and do my nighttime skincare regimen which is pretty simple since UFlalwess is a medical grade skin care matching my skin with cutting-edge actives and natural ingredients.

Here is my skincare routine at night:

Tip number 2: Practice yoga before going to bed.
I love yoga!!! I’ve been practicing Bikram Yoga for the past 13 years. I practice Bikram during the day but at night is a much simpler routine I usually grab my giant medicinal ball for some backbends nowadays we spend so much time hunch over that is just terrible for our postures. For me the minute I bend I feel the stress leaving my body it is during this time I usually practice some breathing exercises mixed with free form stretching many nights with music and sometimes quiet and in the dark depending on my mood.

Once I’m done stretching all the kinks of the day out of my body is when I feel now I’m ready to go to bed!

Tip number 3: Get a good night of sleep! I’m a night owl, so this is not as easy for me as it is probably for you.

But let’s face it between our life commitments and what is happening to our bodies naturally is just not a good combination this is why getting a good night of sleep is a must!

When you get a good night of sleep you are helping your body to function at it’s best. A good night of sleep can keep your heart healthy it also can help you lower the levels of stress, regulate your blood sugars levels, it can reduce your chances for a stroke.

What about a good night of sleep?

Sleeping deeply can also improve your looks and the way you feel about yourself while we sleep our bodies produces new collagen preventing us from having sagging skin and instead of making our skin more plumped and less wrinkle.

When we reach healthy deep levels of sleep, we also promote glowing skin since our bodies boost blood flow while we are sleeping leaving us looking and feeling Flawless. Another tremendous benefit of a good night of sleep is less puffiness around our eyes.

Best nighttime routine for good skin and a good night of sleep

Less sleep leaves our skin drier making us look more wrinkle, and our complexions look dull and drab. (Nobody wants that ~For sure!)If we don’t sleep enough hours, our eyes suffer they get very puffy, and if you are prone to dark circles under the eyes forget it, you will not like the way you look.

But we must get enough hours of sleep between seven to nine (7-9) hours if we don’t, here is what happens to our skin:

Remember when you get a full night of sleep you function at your best during the day, and you look your very best all day!

So there you have it this is my night routine I’m grateful to be able to share it with you.

Owning one hour a day can change your life and the way you live your life. It has changed me for the better!
