Detox For Better Health and Skin

Based on previous experiences through our customers, the first week of the year is a good time of the year to start implementing actions.
Starting with a Detox mindset is a good jumpstart for a new year! It’s not something new. It’s been practiced for centuries, by ancient cultures, like Ayurveda and Chinese. Basically, Detoxification is cleansing your body from the inside out.
I’m not here to say not to eat and only drink water. A serious Detoxifying program, requires medical supervision, as we can’t stop nourishing our body. The difference is nourishing our body with good things, for the body, mind, and soul. We are going to share what we know based on our experience in life and suggestions. It’s an informative article, not a strict guide to follow.
What’s the purpose of Detox
Imagine how would be the feeling every morning of 2019 and feeling 100% or very close to that! With energy, disposition, happy, feeling alive!
A Detox mindset starts with eliminating impurities and filling in our bodies with good things.
Our blood receives and distributes nutrients to all the organs in our body. If we have put the right nutrients inside, through healthy eating, drinking plenty of water, the system starts to work light and with better fuel, better performance, better skin, better mind.
Is Detox recommend to Everybody?
Yes, due to modern lifestyle, where many foods we eat, are processed, fewer fruits and vegetables in our diet, stress, and pollution, to name a few. This translates into many conditions our body feels and reacts, like irritated skin, allergies, puffy eyes or under eye bags, bloating, overweight, laziness, lack of energy.
Basic Steps For Detox
Body – We can start eliminating the bad stuff. Not necessarily for many, unfortunately, the things we like. I’m talking about cigarettes, alcohol, refined sugars, sodium, and saturated fats. If we want a clean body, these things should be out of the way.
Mind – Meditation is a great stabilizer of stress, to put our feet on earth, connect to ourselves and find out the benefits we are bringing to ourselves. Twenty (20) minutes a day is more than enough. That could start with either five (5), or ten (10) minutes.
Soul – During the meditation practice, for example, you can pray, connect to the Universal Force, Energy, God, whatever is your belief, but connect yourself with something that is bigger than us. Surrender to that moment and be grateful to be in that moment.
The Better Detox Program
Is the one you decide to start. There are many options and recipes. There are some that are done in three (3) to seven (7) days, drinking only juices from fresh fruits and vegetables, which personally is my favorite to eliminate toxins.
If we look to the Body, Mind, and Soul again as our whole system of life, we should pay attention to these things in a Detox Program
Body – Eating organic fruits and vegetables, which means no chemicals, hormones, pesticides. Include spirulina, chlorella and seaweeds, protein sources and detoxifying foods. Surging the body with liquids, fiber, and a broadly balanced diet. Eight to Twelve (8-12) glasses of water every day to help hydrate and eliminate toxins. Work out, like walking jogging, activities that will make you sweat. Every day in case you ask.
Mind and Soul – Breath profoundly and frequently. Every meditation routine starts with deep breathing. This allows the oxygen flow through the whole body feeding and eliminating toxins as well.
What Are The Results Of A Detox For The Skin
Inevitably, when we are working our body as a whole to eliminate the bad stuff, our whole body benefits from it. It’s not different in our skin. We are supporting the skin with the best ingredients to produce plenty of collagen, elastin, delivering to every single spot of the skin to receive healing nutrients.
The final result is healthy looking. With younger, glowing radiance looking. As simple as that.
One of the analogies that I like to use is to imagine a dirty cup as our body. Automatically what we would do to clean that cup? Water right!? Plenty of water and with the dirt that is stuck in the cup, we will use tools to make it clean and shine.

Once you decide to detox the body, the skin starts to eliminate toxins as well through the sweat in the pores. The impurities should be removed using some “tools” which are simple to implement in our daily basis.
Removing Impurities and Dead Skin
A good cleansing step, followed by exfoliation is the best way to start promoting the new and healthy skin to come. A facial is one of the most complete detoxifying processes for the face we could begin to. As we saw in the previous post, we can promote in ourselves, if we want to, using proper products for it.
Steaming The Face for a Face Detox
With a bowl of hot water, we can do this at home, no costs involved, and with a towel over our head forming a tent, where the vapor could get to our face is the way for creating our steamer.
This is going to make it easier for the pores to release all the toxins and making it easier for the upcoming skincare products to penetrate and nourish the skin.
Masks to Keep Up Detoxifying
During the period of Detox – three to seven (3-7) days – every other day, it would be great to apply clay or mud masks. It really helps to suck the toxins from the skin as we are doing every other day. There’s no need to wait until the mud is completely cracked. Thirty minutes max is more than enough for the mask deliver what is supposed to do.
Serums are the best Partners For A Face Detox
During this Detox Period, go twice a day for the Serum, especially the ones with Plant Stem-Cells Serum, which helps hydrates the skin, while performing healing any inflammation, rejuvenating skin cells, with antioxidants and actives.
