Beautiful, Younger Looking, Soft Hands Available for Everybody
I have been collecting questions from customers, along the year and realized that many people have concerns about the look in their hands. Since we use our hands for a lot of things and they are exposed pretty much all the time, they suffer from almost everything. From wet to dry, hot to cold, smooth to hash all of that in a day, it’s time to give a hand to our hands…
Hand Mask is the Number One Question to Solve Rough Hands but…
There is a list of other things we can do before just applying Hand Mask on our hands. I promise that if implementing understanding these simple concepts, the daily routine is going to be a no-brainer.
Washing Hands like a Boss
We are consistently doing things with our hands and bacterias are all over the place. I agree that our pets are cute, adorable and clean, but their paws are on sidewalks, grass and in other areas not so clean.
We go to the bathroom, we deal with the trash, go to the supermarket, maneuver the carts through the handlebars an infinite list of things.
We should wash hands as many times possible. No need to be crazy, but everytime interacting with those things in the list, is enough, :-)
Prefer the ones with naturally hydrating ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, aloe vera, they are less aggressive.
Moisturizing Hands, Every time, How many times?
This is one of the most frequent questions, and honestly, there is no other way to say, but as many times you fell so. The minute we feel hands dry, we should use it.
Sunscreen on Hands to Keep Them Looking Younger
Think for a second: Next time your driving pay attention to the position of your hands and the position of the sun while driving. Usually, people do not pay attention to this, but it’s one of the most aggressive things that could happen to our hands. The sun is directly pointing to our hands and if we are not using sunscreen. In few weeks, our hands may look much older than our actual age. SPF 30 is the minimum to use, and it should be applied the minute we are out of the door early in the morning. Sunscreen as we said in other posts, after moisturizing, so they do not block the moisturizer to act on our skin.
Beautiful, Good Looking Hands Have Clean Nails
For many, that would sound odd but I challenge you to test it, and it will be notorious to see how healthy your nails are going to look like in a few weeks after adopting this routine. Especially following the upcoming steps shared here in this post.
Once a day or every other day, clean your nails with a soft brush in a way to remove the dirt and grime that many times are stuck under fingernails. Use hand soap and scrub gently.
Turning this into a habit turns our nails more receptive to receive the treatments and with this becoming healthy and stronger.
Healthy Younger Looking Hands With Well Trimmed Nails
It’s easier to keep nails clean, healthy and harder when trimmed regularly. It doesn’t mean very short nails; they can be a decent size.
As crucial as trimming is shaping with a right crystal nail file into a square or oval shape as you wish. Remembering that the time to look to the cuticles and push them back. Do not cut cuticles, the chances of getting infected increases and we don’t want to deal with an infected nail, believe me, it’s not fun…
The time to some vitamin E drops to nourish and moisturize your nails is now. When I was describing to keep nails clean, this is when the nutrients are better absorbed and becoming stronger, healthy and good looking.
Exfoliate Hands Weekly for Glowing Appearance
As like the other parts of the body that deserves special care, like face, neck, chest, legs, and feet, hands are no exception.
We should exfoliate hands on a weekly basis. And it is a straightforward process that we can do at the same time we are exfoliating our legs and feet. A simple and easy way to do it is using sugar with some creamy, gentle soap. Scrub all parts of hands, including the junction between fingers gently.
It is impressive the visible results we can achieve from exfoliating hands. When we exfoliate we remove all the dead skin cells and create an appropriate environment for new skin cells to grow.
Hands are ready for the Real Expected Results using a Hand Mask
After all the care and routines implemented, it’s time for the Hand Mask that everybody is talking about.
One of the things that are working for a lot of people is applying a thick layer of hand cream – on hands of course :-) – and then cover your hand with latex gloves for thirty (30) minutes to two (2) hours. The results are visible after this step.
Can I Apply Retinol in My Hands?
Absolutely yes. When looking to treat dark spots in hands, it’s absolutely an excellent action to have.
The Retinol stimulates skin rejuvenation, lessening the aging discoloration of the skin. Essential to apply Retinol before bed and never before going to sunlight. Important to remind that when using Retinol, your skin is vulnerable to sunlight making it necessary to use sunscreen all the time!
Keeping Hands Soft Forever
After all of the steps we described above, one thing is essential to keep them soft, moisturize, good looking and younger is to protect them while performing “heavy stuff”.
The daily exposure to chemicals, pollution, dirt and everything else that can damage our hands, makes us mindful now that wearing gloves while gardening or household activities are vital to keep them protected and with the pleasant feeling of soft hands.
You can buy them at your local supermarket, and for a little more than a couple of dollars, the advantages are enormous.
Keep it up!!
